Despite this unexpected journey, Zach continues to embody the spirit of a true patriot. He faces daily challenges with resilience, adapting to a new normal and remaining a steadfast supporter of those who serve.

James Fosse is a man whose dedication to his country and family has spanned decades and touched countless lives. Serving in the Air Force as a switchboard operator from 1952 to 1955, Jim has continued to honor his nation long after his active service ended. Now at 90 years old, he remains a pillar in his community

Throughout his life, Stephen Nix has given everything for others, even when it meant sacrificing his own well-being. His selflessness is beyond words—he would give his last dollar to someone in need, knowing it would leave him with nothing. 

Brittany Nicole Jensen is a true example of resilience and dedication. With 11 years of service, Brittany faced incredible challenges, including leaving her young child behind to fulfill her duties. Despite enduring physical and emotional pain, she led her soldiers with pride and strength.

Shanley Skolnick is a dedicated veteran who continues to serve his community in extraordinary ways. As the founder of Santa4MilitaryFamilies, Shanley spreads joy every Christmas by delivering toys and teddy bears to veterans’ children, military hospitals, local fire departments, and police stations. 

Jimmy Harding is a Marine Corps veteran whose kindness and dedication uplift his community. Known for his warm smile and thoughtful words, Jimmy greets his church family each Sunday, taking time to connect with young and old alike. As a cherished friend, husband, father, and grandfather, Jimmy’s presence has touched the lives of many.

Jonathan Turnbull is an Army veteran whose dedication to service has impacted thousands across war-torn regions. During his deployments to Afghanistan, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, and Syria, Jonathan and his team carried out life-changing missions. On January 16, 2019, Jonathan was critically injured by an ISIS attack, resulting in months of intensive surgeries and rehabilitation.

Joseph Hammers is a retired service member whose commitment to his country continues in his work with young people in Chesapeake, Virginia. Now an admired leader in the Exceptional Learners Department, Joseph brings dedication and heart to his role at a public high school.

Mark Schultz is a selfless patriot who quietly serves his family, community, and fellow veterans with boundless dedication. Mark has long honored fallen soldiers by placing flags at their graves alongside his grandson, and he ensures worn flags are properly retired. Mark returned to continue his mission, even in the face of a Stage 4 cancer diagnosis.

Gregory Kaloyerakis is a remarkable veteran who just celebrated his 99th birthday and whose bravery and compassion continue to inspire. Called to duty at just 19, Gregory served in WWII as a PFC in the 20th Armored Division. Gregory’s legacy of courage and humanity shines brightly.
