Systems and Inventory Manager
Overview:
The Systems and Inventory Manager will oversee the efficient distribution of products and the maintenance and development of systems related to distribution operations. The ideal candidate will be a confident and technically inclined self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced and competitive environment. This role requires a resourceful and independent problem solver with a logical and analytical approach. The successful candidate will be able to make quick, accurate decisions and manage complex tasks with a thorough and self-disciplined attitude. They should demonstrate intense focus and a driving commitment to operational efficiency while coordinating product distribution schedules, managing inventory levels, and collaborating with various departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Schedule and coordinate the distribution of products to meet customer demand.
- Consult with production to adjust ordering based on production schedules.
- Ensure accurate shipment records and customer satisfaction.
- Determine reorder points and maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Analyze product demand, trends, and forecasts to adjust inventory plans.
- Evaluate freight, prepare discrepancy reports for damaged goods, and perform audits on shipping invoices.
- Compile and analyze reports on work progress, inventory levels, costs, terms and production issues.
- Manage Inventory and Quality Specialist to ensure incoming goods meet set company standards.
- Systems Management:
- Develop and implement training, procedures, and tools for effective distribution ERP system usage.
- Design operational systems to enhance efficiency within our ERP.
- Ensure standard distribution processes align with customer requirements.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team and management to document and improve distribution systems.
- Serve as a problem solver, providing technical support and composing performance reports.
Qualifications:
- Inventory Management:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred or 3-4 years of relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and distribution management principles.
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications and clerical tasks.
- Comprehensive knowledge of distribution systems and processes.
- Ability to lead and direct teams and handle complex tasks.
- Strong strategic thinking, organizational skills, and detail orientation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- In depth knowledge of ERP systems regarding usage and implementation.

Salary Range:
- $65k - $75k
