Operations Manager
Overview:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the daily operations of the Allegiance warehouse. They will ensure the organization’s processes remain efficient, effective, and aligned with the goals of the company. The Operations manager will report directly to the Director of Operations and oversee the warehouse supervisor team.

Responsibilities:
- Operations Oversight:
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze operational metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous improvement.
- Oversee all warehouse functions, ensuring effective implementation and maintenance of the cleanliness and organization program.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage the operations department. Sit in on monthly leadership training and provide weekly feedback to management staff.
- Sit in and provide feedback on weekly leadership meetings on performance.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to develop team members’ skills and capabilities.
- Resource Management:
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to achieve operational goals.
- Work closely with Inventory and Systems Manager to assist in inventory management, logistics planning, and supply chain optimization.
- Quality Assurance:
- Work with our Inventory and Quality specialist to assist and enforce quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure product/service consistency.
- Resolve any issues or problems arising during operations and ensure timely escalation when necessary.
- Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Operate within the guidelines of the set budget regarding spend and labor allocations.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs without sacrificing quality.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal standards.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
- Lead and support process improvement initiatives and projects.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Foster collaboration across departments to align operations with broader organizational goals.
- Communicate with senior management and stakeholders on operational performance and strategy.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; preferred
Additional Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Proficiency in shipping software such as Shipstation.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
