Throughout our Flags for Heroes campaign, we've had the privilege of learning about the incredible veterans who have served our country with courage and dedication. These stories, filled with sacrifice and resilience, serve as a powerful reminder of the true meaning of patriotism.
We’re honored to share the story of Robert "Bobo" Stanwood, a dedicated Army Ranger and Delta Force operative who served his country with unwavering bravery for 23 years.
Story submitted by Jacqueline Krause “My father was in WW11. He is still with us (soon to be 98 years old) and tells us stories about his time in the Philippines. Some good ,some not so good.We are so blessed to still have him with us. My Mom and him will be married 73 years next year. Still living in their own home and my Dad still has a beer now and then at the local VFW. He is a hero in our town for serving. My Dad proudly flys the American Flag"
Thank you, John, for your honorable service, sacrifice, and dedication.
